Headache remedies and therapies that you can use

– Try relaxation techniques like meditation, yoga, and biofeedback. Trying these relaxation techniques, the person who suffers from headaches can feel the pain that flows from the head. It may also help reduce stress.

– Relieving the area affected by the application of ointment to the heat. Ben-Gay or Icy Hot rubbed on the forehead or the neck, may give a feeling soothing warmth to your head.

– The power of music. Try listening to relaxing music while lying down or resting.

– Exercise regularly. Physical activities such as regular exercise can relieve stress, because it can loosen the knots and balls pain in your head.

– Get enough sleep. After six to eight hours of sleep can help soothe your tired nerves. But beware of sleeping more than 10 hours because it can cause major headaches.

– If possible, use a neck pillow in the bed. If you are prone to headaches in the morning try to use a neck pillow for your neck while you sleep.

– To completely eliminate caffeine, salt, sodium glutamate, and chocolate in your diet. Load on lots of fruits, vegetables, and water to keep your body well hydrated.

– If you can, avoid intense light, because it leads to a headache once you squint.

– Do not skip meals. Skipping meals can lead to hypoglycemia. When your blood sugar drops, your blood vessels in the brain that leads to narrowing of headaches.

– Do not eat foods with nitrates, sulphites, msg and chat because they are primary headaches. Also avoid aged cheeses and nuts so you do not experience headaches.

– Do not rooms with smoke and avoid smoke.
