What are the causes of persistent headache in a few days?
Hello, For about the last 24 hours, I had a kind of throbbing "Low-grade headache. This looks more like discomfort and pressure than any pain. The only thing I changed in the past weeks I have changed a CRT monitor to an LCD (flat screen), like most of my work revolves around the computer. I tried Tylenol and Claritin (for allergies in the case is). Tylenol helped a little, and Claritin has not helped at all. I've never had problems sitting in front of a computer for long hours before. I tried to take a break and go outside for a while but neither this nor sleep seems to help everyone. What could be causing this and what can I do to get rid of this headache or prevent future?
Two possibilities are eyestrain, or, depending on the type of room you are working, dehydration. It sounds a bit like this, since away the computer did not help – I myself had this problem. My suggestion would be to drink and a fan all at the computer, since believe it or not, you can get dehydrated very easily if you work in a warm room.
